First crash since 2001. Ouch. My fault, my toe got caught under the peg and fired me off the high side. Marshall said I was at least 8 feet in the air. All my injuries happened as I was on the bike. There are no marks or pains from landing. I just want to point out why my injuries are relatively minor. My Velocity Sportsgear Inc. Leathers and armour absorbed all impacts without tearing, scuffing through or slipping. They need no repairs to race again. Thank you Jimmy Singh. My HJC helmet is used up, but my head and face are not. My Dianese back protector means that my back is fine and not injured (never ever race without a good back protector) and my Alpinestars kept all the impact and much of the foot and knee damage to a minimum. Huge thanks to all and especially once again to Kevin Barry and Race Rescue....And Ken McAdam for lifting me up and down from the announcing stand.
