First day at the beach today! after a summer indoors. Followed by the most scrumptious lunch at OSullivans, Crookhaven. We had open crab sandwich and beautiful rare beef open. (€12.95 and €9.50, normal sandwiches less than half that). Couldnt possibly have been any better. Beautiful salads, and no coleslaw for a pleasant change. Coffee and apple rhubarb crumble to follow. Barleycove beach warm, wild and windy, and OSullivans open for lunch every day except Christmas Day and Good Friday. Almost nicer in the winter. Perfect winter breaks!
