If you ever get the chance to meet or just chat with Wurz Tattooist and Lyndon Evans, they are properly nice guys. Cheers for a great couple of days chaps! 2. If you remember Londons post from a while back regarding knife making courses Ive just spent two days being a guinea pig for Lyndon to see what teaching a complete beginner like me entails. Set in the beautiful Brecon beacons, camp sites galore, pubs a-plenty. In short, as soon as Lyndon has his price list sorted and is taking bookings you must, must, must experience this. Ive had a blast, learned loads and come away with a gorgeous, hand forged knife, made to suit my taste, hand size, and hand forged by me, under Londons very competent supervision and guidance. Anything right with the knife if thanks to Lyndon. Any flaws are mine alone, but to be honest its those that add to the look I am loving more each time I look at, and handle it. Lyndon advised me the handle needs a little more shaping, and a final edge put on the blade. So Ill do that, but Its not just the knife that I wanted to tell you about, but the whole experience. You have to do this, and if not a knife, ask Lyndon about any other project you have in mind. I also bought an awesome hand forged squirrel cooker from him. Lyndon, all the very best for the future, Ill definitely be back. RECENT POSTS News Feed Wurz Tattooist 22 hrs Some of you may remember Lyndon Evans offering a couple of days making knives for free a while back, that Neil Rowlands and I were lucky enough to snap up. Well, a full review with pictures will follow in a few days time, but meanwhile I can safely say we had a brilliant time making these knives from some old land rover leaf springs. Mines the top one, Neils is the bottom.
