First hotel for Kathu Urban Hotels has opened its latest offering in Kathu, Northern Province. The first hotel in the town, Urban Hotel Kathu will feature eight luxury double rooms, six luxury twin rooms and one suite. There are also twin rooms, 41 double rooms with king size beds and a paraplegic double room. The hotel is currently in the process of developing conferencing and incentive facilities. Ceo, Beyers Myburgh says: “The demand for proper accommodation in Kathu is very high, especially because of the mining activities in and around the town. We identified the need for accommodation and our model of supply perfectly caters for the demand. Urban Hotel Kathu offers those travelling on business with the mines in the area, an experience never before seen in the town and one that will be very hard to match.”
