First lady hails residents over gays law: First Lady and minister for Karamoja Affairs Janet Museveni has thanked Ugandans for standing firm when the western world threatened to withdraw aid over the passing of the anti-gays law. She made the remarks during celebrations of Mothers Union Day of Mary at Bobi Sub-county in Gulu District on Sunday.
