First, let me say that I am very Grateful to State Representative - TopicsExpress

First, let me say that I am very Grateful to State Representative Candidate, Dr Johnny Gaffney For orqestrating a handshake moment at the Raines/Ribault Classic between Jacksonville Sheriff Candidate Ken Jefferson and Political Consultant Kenneth Adkins. Prevailing thought in the Black Commynity of Jacksonville was that two influential Black Leaders should not be having a public fight and most certainly i agree. I Have lived long enough to understand that in the heat of battle, things are said and personal feelings are often hurt. And since I try to live what I preach, i want to use this same public platform to apologize to all who were offended by any of the statements I made. As a Pastor, most certainly i should have exercised greater restraint. As a Black Conservative, i am often challenged because of my beliefs and this was a lesson learned in how to handle political disagreements. It is also my prayer That Black Liberals use greater restraint when learning that there are people of color who both think and live different and not all of us subscribe to the theory of handouts and government giveaways. And yes, I am one of them and for that I do not apologize. I wish Mr. Jefferson the best of luck and I am grateful to Dr. Gaffney, Bishop John Guns and my beautiful Wife, Copastor Stormy for pushing me to publicly make it right.
