First of all, I have to start this post with a wish that everyone has a very happy and healthy new year. Now on to what I really want to post. My friends and I were looking for a place this afternoon for lunch. Mach Gute was closed as was Hometown Heros. Knowing that my friends are not smokers I suggested Joes Tavern. Well we decided to go there. If anyone has not been there in awhile, please try it out. Jackie has a chef from Bear Creek. OMG. He made us fried turkey balls stuffed with filling with a side of gravy. Tasted just like Thanksgiving. Only thing missing was the cranberry sauce. My one friend wanted the fried Rueben, but he was already sold out of that. They are also serving breakfast Saturdays from 9-4. Good place perhaps for DDD to show up. Heck, we certainly have enough of them within a 2 block radius.
