First of all I want to say thank you to the family and friends who are willing to bend over backwards and help out in any way possible. It really does warm our heart that we are so fortunate to have the support network in place that we do. To give everyone an update on Jonathan: he will be on in the PICU until probably Monday or Tuesday. His numbers are moving towards where they should be though his heart rate is still a little higher then what we would like (163-168 when it should be around 135-145, BP is 100/45 which is good (though ideal would be in the 80-90s) and his continuous 02 levels are still being worked on to bring down slowly (currently at 35% when they should be around 21% which is room air concentration). Everyone here is in high spirits and being positive. Though he is in PICU and will be here for a while yet he is low man on the totem pole here compared to some other things happening with others on the floor. We are hoping to go home mid to late next week but we are not going to rush anything. He needs to get the virus out of the system and since he has the baby asthma that is why he needs to stay on the ventilator and paralytic longer than initially hoped for. Thank you all again for your love and support and prayers as it is really helping.
