First of its kind as far as the AWC is concerned, match officials selected for the finals have been in Windhoek for a pre-tournament course ahead of the championship. The selected match officials have been taking part in the pre-tournament scheduled from October 2-10, to be in shapes and form and also test their readiness for the eight-team tournament. The eight days pre-tournament course are dominated by practical sessions that will include fitness test and medical as well as theoretical sessions.
