First off, sorry about Frank blasting his music in some of the segments =] which make some of it difficult to hear. The EMOM, or Every minute on the minute, was the choice for the night, thanks Tiffany! The EMOM is a type of circuit training that allows for much more complex movements to be done in an environment that allows for focus on postural control as well as burn out. You can do anything for 1 minute right? The EMOM is a widely used training style in Crossfit for cleans and Olympic style lifts, which I enjoy... yet am not a huge fan of. So, I utilize the EMOM style for more common workout sessions giving one the ability press to failure yet keep proper posture. This training can be done with anything... sprints, bands, kettlebells, bodyweight and an infinite amount of circuits as well. If you dont have equipment... body weight, a chair, stairs, and even counter tops can be great training tools! Today: 1 minute> rest1 minute... 2x. Next exercise. Repeat for all. Barbell overhead press Power pop ups Ass kickers (these were by far the worst) Barbell bent row with alternating grip =[ Prowler pushups Ball slams
