First off, there is NOTHING WRONG with the version of NOBODYS LOST - TopicsExpress

First off, there is NOTHING WRONG with the version of NOBODYS LOST that has been available at Amazon for NEW purchases (not repurchases after returns of the wrong book) since sometime on Dec. 9. So dont be afraid to buy it now! This message is about those who preordered or returned and tried to repurchase it and keep getting the wrong book. I wish all readers realized that Amazon doesnt read reviews--ANY of them. I have so many reviews (especially at Amazon.co.uk) complaining they got the wrong book with NOBODYS LOST or didnt get the refunds requested--and, of course, not being in the UK, I cant post messages explaining to them how to fix the problem or direct their concerns to someone who can. Obviously my two December newsletters and dozens of posts on Facebook and Twitter have not reached them. A post directly in the description of the book didnt help, nor did the one on my Amazon Author Central bio page (altho I realize now that doesnt get shared with other countries--something I need to remedy). BUT if you know any of the people posting complaints to Amazon via reviews of my book (and dont just look at the 1-star ones, because some are leaving a 4- or 5- star reviews but still have never seen the book they were supposed to get initially--I suppose those folks are just too kind to leave a 1-star for a book they never read LOL--please pass this message along: Those who preordered or purchased Nobodys Lost on or before Dec. 9 should have received an e-mail message from Amazon on/about Dec. 15 with instructions on how to update to the correct book. If you returned the book and repurchased, youll continue to get the wrong book until you delete it off your device and follow the instructions below. (Dont delete it from your library, tho!) If you missed the Amazon e-mail, here is what you need to do to get your copy of Nobodys Lost: 1) Go to Manage Your Content and Devices at Amazon. 2) Apparently you do not have it set for Automatic Updates (or you wouldnt have seen the wrong book this late in the month still), so just look for the book, click on Update Available, then sync it to your device. 3) That SHOULD take care of the problem. If not, please contact Kindle Support and tell them I understand there is an update for Nobodys Lost. Would you please push it to my device. (They work best from a script and thats the one that gets the best results--but if you dont have success the first time, try, try again. Here are some of the various links Amazon has sent me. I hope they work in your country, but if not, look for the Contact Us links at your store: Via phone: amazon/clicktocall Via chat: amazon/clicktochat Or go to: amazon/kindlesupport or reach out to them directly and toll free from many countries. Learn how on their Kindle Support website: kindle/support Thanks for your patience! And please be so kind as to leave a review of the book after you do get to read it. I wish I could say this would be the last post Ill have to make on this issue, but somehow I think it will continue for the rest of my life, give or take a day or two. *sigh*
