First stage of backsliding is a memory. The enemy will deceive you by thinking on how things use to be. Next is compromise... going to that place where your deceived into believing a little wont hurt & slowly start indulging in your old ways. Next is denial...deceived AGAIN to believe the church or change thing is not working, you feel incomplete...and here comes the blame game... everybody & everything about the church is wrong for you. Now, its find reason to leave the church/God... usually being deceived to think ppl talking about you or trying to control you only because those that see you drifting try to pull you back. Finally, completely turned back to the old you, enticed by the things of your past & some new stuff. You deceive yourself to believe your strong enough to handle the life you were once tired of. The life that caused you much grief, struggle, pain & unhappiness. Only to be possessed by 7 more demonic spirit even more vicious then the ones before. And for what?? To end up worse then you were the last time, trapped in a lifestyle where strongholds refuse to let you go or worse a lifestyle of sin you die living. ask me how I know? This was me & I almost didnt make it back and still bare the scars of my choices. If that life was so great, we would have never wanted out the first time. #dontbedeceived
