First stargazing adventure with the new 25x to 125x binoculars. Saturn and Mars, while bright and clear to the naked eye, were a disappointment with the binoculars. Even though a web-site says At 25x, you’ll see Saturn as non-circular, and 50-60x should reveal the rings and the planet’s tiny disk., I couldnt see more than a bright dot; even at the highest magnification. However, when I switched to viewing the moon, my mind was blown. The details in the texture and craters of the surface was amazing. Even at below maximum magnification, it was brilliant and full of depth. I might try again to see if I can improve the Saturn and Mars experiences, but even if that never happens, I think that the moon will be getting more attention. oneminuteastronomer/5630/saturns-rings/#sthash.3XuVdLDB.dpuf amazon/gp/product/B0014HODWE/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
