First, the cop could have stayed in his car and used his PA system. Second, firing without actually seeing a weapon on the assumption it was a weapon. Third, firing towards innocent people going down the roadway. Cops have such a superiority complex, they think they are better than the public, they think they are the publics masters. They need to realize their job is to SERVE the public. They are no-ones master and they have to abide by the same laws and constitution they are supposed to be sworn to protect. For that matter, it should not be any greater crime to assault or kill a homeless drunk in the gutter than it is to assault or kill a cop!
