First the damn phone & mow the laptop is down hard with a black screen / white cursor virus. *sigh* Cant win sometimes. So a cool gray wet morning walk with only the huddling birds and memories past today. While myself and my Son are enjoying relative comfort of life these days, I am struck by the real life dramas of my friends & associates for whom I am very emphatic for (an excellent trait to have I believe!) From the soon to be Moms, Grandmas & other changing titles that babies bring, to folks with true life threatening illness battles to the battling relationships couples through the pet owners losing a beloved one or two all the way down to even the pot stirrers who feel they must enhance their boring tragic daily lives, it seems that the gloom of the day matched the words & calls Ive received. Sad really. With the coldest Summer in 15 years taking place, after a record cold Winter, I was looking forward to joy on my friends lives. Heres hoping that like the clouds & the rains a great deal of this doom & gloom blows out of town quickly for everyone. For me, Ill just keep asking how everyone is, like a good friend should, and lending my shoulder wherever it is needed. That and walking along in the misty mornings wondering where Ill be living next month...with my windows open of course. Peace.
