First the shuttered middle school was put up for sale. Then, when Jackson Christian Schools was interested in purchasing the building, the EJ board withdrew it. Now the two elementary school buildings - Robinson and Memorial - will be put up for sale. And perhaps when a buyer appears for those, they too will be pulled off the table. EJ is hard to figure these days. What is its long-term plan? To sell or not to sell? To contract, or expand? These are honest and friendly questions, not accusations. The district seems a bit uncertain and confused about its directions.
