First things first. I am a Card fan. Always have and always will be. But, I come from a different time. When I was young, you could be both. I went to UK football games with my dad and his buddies, and if we got back early enough we went to the UofL game at the fairgrounds. It wasnt a sin. No line was drawn. I remember Dan Issel, Mike Pratt, Kevin Grevey. I cheered Rex Chapman. Rick Robey and Mel Turpin. The thing that strikes me, is every time UK made a major run in the tourney, they were THE best team. Nobody was better. They kicked ass and were supposed to. Now this team surprises me. I never paid much attention to them because, besides the pre season hype, they quite frankly never lived up to it. They were mediocre in some games, a very NON UK trait. But, they arent now. Id say that they were probably supposed to lose their last 3 games, but didnt. Hell, I wouldnt be surprised at this point, if they won it. And thats the point Im trying to make. With the other UK teams, you knew. This team you think can. And thats impressive. Now Im not changing colors, dont get me wrong. But this team is kinda fun to watch. ( did I just say that? ) C-A.........Im stopping there
