First time picking Chanterelles. To the best of my knowledge none - TopicsExpress

First time picking Chanterelles. To the best of my knowledge none of these appear to be the false chanterelle. Some of them appear more orange, but I think thats due to age. Didnt seem to find any with hollow stems or bladelike true gills. All had an Apricot/fruit odor. If anyone with a keen eye sees any false please let me know. Im also curious about how many people eat Hygrophoropsis aurantiaca without getting an upset stomach. Thanks.
