First time reviewer. After working in a fast food chain and a restaurant franchise, Im now on the search for reclaiming my tastebuds. Grilld Rundle Street Sneakily opened shop a few metres away from local franchise Fancy Burger. Ordered Crispy Bacon and Cheese on panini. Much disappoint. Meat was the biggest bummer for me: it lacked flavour, had a cookie cutter look and has the same texture as a frozen beef patty. Salad was pretty good. Cheese, meh. Herbed mayo, meh. Bacon wasnt crispy but it was cooked. Chips were the standard frozen job. Just cooked, some colour, prefer mine crunchy outside, fluffy inside though. The seasoning not bad. Sweet chilli mayo dipping sauce gets a tick: creamy and balanced. Tl;dr: overrated. Theres better burger joints on this street. Burger: 2.5 pickles Chips: 1.5 potatoes
