First, until I see his actual numbers, I am not believing his story, I think he is just taking the opportunity to up his prices more. I dont doubt he has to raise his prices some but fifty percent sounds like complete bullshit. Shame on LA Times for not doing more research on his numbers. Second, I already pay more because I buy my eggs from the farmers market, where my eggs come from a local farm that uses humane, no cage farming. I would rather pay more for humane eggs than the abhorrent ways they were farming eggs.
