First we have our political puppets, the entertainment division of the military industrial complex. Behind them, we have the true government; the CEOs and other industrialists and bankers. Behind them we have the ruling families we never see much except in pictures of them at aristocratic parties. Beyond them, we have this ancient group that has been hidden beyond the veil of history. I dont think they are aliens really, simply a competing species but they are involved with other off world civilizations and to them we are little more than a commodity, a resource to be harvested and sold. Perhaps our hidden rulers were once extraterrestrial but we would have to have access to our forbidden history to really know.
