First week of experimentation for the Ask Syria project. Julia Harte asked us more information about a bridge between Syria and Iraq, in Faysh Khabur. “A bridge was built in Faysh Khabur in May 2013, in Iraqi #Kurdistan. The bridge was completed in August and the result was that scores of refugees poured into Iraq from #Syria at that border post. Is the border post still open, are refugees still going to #Iraq from there?” We will try to answer her question while also providing context on the situation for Syrian refugees.
