Firstly Id just like to say a massive thanks to God and you all - TopicsExpress

Firstly Id just like to say a massive thanks to God and you all for still being my friends, hope your all having a good time. Im not really very good at writing speeches so Im not going to say a lot, but there are a few things I must say. Firstly, to my mum and dad. I just say a massive thanks for everything you have done, not only on my birthday but also over the years. We are always told as children that you dont understand what your parents do for you until you stand on your own two feet and do it yourself. Now I understand. Thank you for always being there, as a friend and someone to talk to, and to make me my dinner when I come home from work. Also a big thank you to all the others who have helped me over the years and in making My birthday happen, And finally Id like to say thank you to all my friends. Ive known some of you are younger than others, but your all great. Sometimes when people move on after our education or move to a new job its hard to keep in contact with people. I think the fact that we have shows us how good friends we are. And I hope to see you all at my 27th, or the next time we are together. And I hope even more so that we are as healthy and as happy as we are today. The tragedy of old age is not that one is old, but that one is young. Those of you who envy me, rest assured that one day it will be your turn: wrinkles are democrats, as Lord Byron says, they come to everybody. It is true, seen through the eyes of an 26-year-old: I am old, and I am thankful for it. The reason is that the years have given me all the dear people who are here to celebrate my 26th birthday with me. Thank you for making it, and thank you for all the happy times we have already spent together. These moments are the true reason for this celebration. I dedicate this noble birthday to my only lovely twin sister #Hassana_Isahaka at Akrokeri Ashanti. I love you.
