Firstly thank you to Alana, Kaila-Chae Porteous and Robert for nominating me for the ALS/MND Challenge. Also thank you for acknowledging the cause at hand, and donating as well. I am not going to even begin to talk about the disease, as it’s something a lot of you would have no interest in seeing as most of your challenges lack a certain mention of the cause. This video is obviously not a serious one, and I have taken it in a complete humorous manner. Similar to what the “Ice Challenge” has become. I do completely understand that it has brought about great awareness, and though it may sadly take such a challenge to bring about awareness it is none the less a good outcome. However this is still no excuse to completely ignore ALS/MND and simply do a challenge with no acknowledgement of the cause, and turn it into just another viral challenge. Along with raising awareness, it also helps to DONATE and makes those individuals uneducated about the disease more educated. With thus said, I would like to nominate every single individual out there that has not donated; to please do so, even if it may be a small amount, something is better than nothing. Also please do research about ALS, because its isn’t called ”ASL”, “That disease thing”, “AL something” or even “Ice challenge for those who are sick”.
