Fish and Poi There are all types of storms that we face in life, some big and some small. Some cause a lot of damage and some don’t. Some bring devastation and others bring blessings. Whatever kind of storm that comes by today it is usually known and seen through weather experts and instrumentation and satellite to give us a heads up so we can prepare for it. God has also given us a way to prepare for the storms in life that we face. One way is His word that gives us the direction we are to take to avoid areas that can bring harm to our lives and how to build our house upon the Rock. Another, is He has given us His Spirit to lead and guide us and to alert us to prepare for what is up ahead or coming our way. We have rights given to us from His word that we can stand on and know that He will watch over His word to perform for us in these situations. As a tither, He said he will rebuke the devour for our sake and he (the devour) will not destroy the fruits of our ground. This is a promise from His word that we can stand on as a tither. So when the storm passes, whatever kind it is, God is on our side and He will prepare us to avoid them or go through them. Luke 6:48 (KJV) He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. Malachi 3:10-11 (KJV) Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it. And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the Lord of hosts. Romans 8:31 (KJV) What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
