Fishermen stare as ODFW pass glowing hot irons and the smell of burning sea lion flesh fills the air in the East Mooring Basin in Astoria Oregon on 8/27/14. SLDBs previously unreleased video of ODFW and PSMFS employees branding sea lions behind makeshift plywood walls erected to keep the glowing hot irons, and the sea lions that catch on fire and are bucking in pain out of the public eye. Why does ODFW have to hide what they are doing to the sea lions from the public if their heinous secret acts are really so just and good? The sea lions on the Columbia River deserve so much more than what they are currently getting from the State and Federal agencies entrusted to protect them. Another many good reasons to contact: Donna Wieting Director of Protected Resources NOAA Ask her to PLEASE pull the permit for the lethal take of sea lions on the Columbia River for eating fish. The Columbia River Dogs need more protection from NOAA not less. We all want our children to be nice to animals, and learn to share. Phone: 301-713-2332 email: [email protected] 1315 East - West Highway Silver Spring MD 20910 SLDB 2014. Thank You for taking action for the sea lions!
