Fishing Report on Big Spring: 10/17/14 I had a great time with Dwane and Mike. We fished from just before 8am to around 4pm. It was a nice day until the wind became a pain. The air was around 60 in the morning and got into the 70s by lunch. Dwane made some killer sandwiches so we were on the stream casting almost all day. We fished dry/droppers the entire time. It was our droppers that were taken almost every time. Dwane mostly hit the riffles and as for Mike and I we did try some of those hard flatwater trout. Fishing before 1pm was very productive and then it slowed down a bit. Still we caught plenty of brooks and rainbow trout. They both missed and lost two over 13 inches and we easily landed 15 5 to 11 inch trout. It was a great time. Mike enjoyed his PA fishing and Dwane leanred much about the stream.
