Fishing has been consistent, the bite overall has reached its mid-late-Winter stage. I do not see much improvement for the next 3-4 weeks IMO, as the saying goes it is, what it is. Fish can still be caught, were catching 12-15 per day and getting an occasional Striper too. Ive been running mostly Striper trips as of late but catching most of our fish on artificial bait go figure. Spoons, drop shots tipped with minnow imitations like flukes and Strike King Dream Shots, and Spotsticker Jigheads tipped with craws and Big Bite Shaking Squirrels have produced Spotted Bass for me. Fish are scattered deep to mid-depth water column. Heres a few pics from recent trips. Drop me a line for availability in February. Rick is still catching plenty of Stripers, Hybrids, and Spotted Bass at Lake Allatoona as well so if youre wanting to catch a white fish he can accommodate. LB
