Fitness In Christ Week TwentyThree: “Lord Allow Your Wings & Feathers to Shield & Shelter Me.” Welcome to Fitness In Christ, in your quiet time today here by this beautiful Ocean Take a moment to have an intimate conversation with God, your father and hear him speaking to your heart in this verse: (Every where it says “I” or “my” or “you” please put in your name) “This I (your name) declare of the Lord: He alone is my (your name) refuge, my (your name) place of safety; He is my (your name) God, and I (your name) am trusting him. For he will rescue you (your name) from every trap and protect you (your name) from the fatal plague. He will shield you (your name) with his wings. He will shelter you (your name) with his feathers. His faithful promises are our (your name) armor and protection. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor fear the dangers of the day...” Psalm 91: 2-5 Dear Lord, As we all go through struggles or times in our lives of uncertainty, Lord I ask you right now in this moment to open and bless each of us reading this and gathering for inspiration and insight from your word. It is in moments of uncertainty Lord that your whisper calls to my heart. Lord you are steadfast with your arms around me and all of my sisters when we call out to you. Sometimes in this world from which we live, we feel a separation, a sadness and I know that is because we truly do not belong to this world---Lord you have a reset button and that is you--- your gift of the Holy Spirit. Lord when we feel like we are alone, or we are struggling Lord I ask in your son’s name that each reader feel your protection from hunger, from night terrors, from financial struggle, from separation, from the silent struggle that grips my reader now in this moment. Lord I ask you please send your guardian angels right now to provide immediate shelter and warmth, to soften hardened souls with your feathers, to feel your armor and protection and to guard against slipping sadness in the night. Lord I ask that your powerful strength fill us, I ask your Kingship to grant us power to live with jubilance and passion today and rest peacefully tonight. Lord you protect and you anoint us and for this unwavering love we are humbled and bow at our knees and exalt you and lift your name up to the heavens and declare you King. You are my King. You are my King of Kings....Amen. Let’s just dive into these verses while you are walking on the beach ask yourselves these questions and just start a conversation with God. Here we go!:) “This I declare of the Lord: He alone is my refuge, my place of safety; Question-- ask yourself how can I make God my refuge? Describe your place of safety...Is it your home or a special place you can go to that brings you peace and feeling of inspiration and shelter from any harm. How can you integrate the two places so that God can occupy the same place? “He is my God, and I am trusting him. For he will rescue you from every trap and protect you from the fatal plague.” What traps do you have going on in your life right now that you need God’s guidance or protection in? What do you think the “fatal plague” means? How can you invite the Lord in right now to help you fight this? “He will shield you with his wings. He will shelter you with his feathers” Have you ever felt God’s protection over you? Talk about a specific time you did and describe what it felt like. Do you resonate with “His feathers” and if so what gentleness does this conjure up in you with respect to Him protecting you. “His faithful promises are our armor and protection.” What promises does God give to you? Describe how they serve as armor and protection? “Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor fear the dangers of the day...” Psalm 91:5 What are you afraid of? What keeps you up at night? What fears do you have in the day? What can you drop at the Lord’s feet right now so he can provide you with peace and light and protection? Confess it now and leave it at his alter. Dear Lord, As we close today we open our hearts to this verse and ask you to reveal to us and open our hearts in a new way to understand and apply your wisdom in our life. Do not be afraid of the terrors of the night, nor fear the dangers of the day...” Psalm 91: 2-5 As we begin to walk along this beautiful ocean Lord I ask that you reach inside each of my warriors and lift their hearts, lift all the burdens, lift all sadness, erase any grief, lift and restore, reboot, heal, anoint, and bless each of my beloved fighters and defenders of your precious and Holy name. We love you Lord and we place our hands in yours, our hearts are open to receiving your Holy Spirit and your voice. We know you have a special path for each of us, special gifts and talents, that we will lift up and give to you, to glorify you....it seems so small in comparison to who you are.... You rule the skies...the thunder...the ocean.... And yet you desire and chase after EACH one of us. No matter how far we wonder and run...YOU this amazing KING and ruler seek us out. You find us on our path, and we stand now in your intersection with openness, humility and passion for you and your voice to live within us and to live a life with your gifts expressed within each of us. We identify as your child, as your receiver of your light and power and all your wonderful gifts....Together we stand and in unison say, “Amen” NOW Please at your own pace, and by yourself, go stand or sit in silence for about 5 min reading through the the bible verse and simply allow the holy spirit to reveal a message of strength, conviction, hope, truth, light or a special message God has just for you. Then Kita will softly tap you on your shoulder to get your attention Just silently stand up and by yourself at your own pace begin to walk on the beach in a southern direction, together in silence- Please this is vital- NO TALKING. God desires a relationship with just you, he wants to speak to you with the ocean crashing and the seagulls flying over your heads to inspire and open each of your hearts and while you walk in silence please walk repeating and memorizing this verse in your heart. Then Kita will gather us back together for a 10 min mini bootcamp with core. Please continue to see God speak to you, then in a circle we will pray with each other and set individual spiritual, wellness and fitness goals for upcoming week. This week’s Mission if you so choose is: “Imagine God leading you through your “valley”, lifting you up and directing you to a happy, healing, peaceful, loving place. You must let go of everything “earthly” fix your eyes upon HIM and HE WILL deliver and Direct your path.’ Amen I love you:) Next week’s Goals: 1.Create a place you and God can go to spend time together. 2.Release all your traps to God--share with him your struggles and lay them at his alter.3.Allow yourself to feel God’s arms and feathers around you. 4. Ask God every morning to give you armor and protection to fight your battles for peace, love and reconciliation today. Amen.
