Fitness challenge of the week! So when I post these videos I often have people either comment or say in person something like, oh my gosh youre crazy, I cant do that stuff or something along those lines. Guess what? Last year I couldnt do most of the stuff I post either! I sucked at push-ups and I felt like puking after 2 burpees. But I TRIED! And I tried hard! And then something amazing happened...I got better! So maybe you cant do a bunch of wacky push-ups or 10 burpees with tuck jumps, etc. But you can try an do one push-up right? Heck do it on your knees! You can try a burpee or two with no jumps right? And you can work until you get better! I did a move today that I knew I wouldnt be very good at because I wanted to show that its ok that you arent able to do something perfectly! Its called pistol squats. Basically you are doing a one-legged squat all the way to the floor and back up. And its challenging! This video is me doing my best(and screwing up pretty badly) on some pistol squats. But Im setting a goal that I will be able to do 5 of these babies on each leg by the end of January! So here is my raw and not so impressive fitness challenge of the week! I encourage you to give it a try and let me know if you can do it or not! If youre feeling brave, shoot me a video!
