Five Broken Cameras profile share this: While the killing of people in #Gaza continues, a few Israelis that object the brutal attack on Gaza are trying to challenge Israeli societys wide support of the war. One of these rare voices is Haaretz journalist Gideon Levy. In the beginning of the attack Levy wrote a piece defining Israeli pilots as morally corrupted and accusing them of committing war crimes. In 2010 Guy Davidi and Emad Burnat collaborated on a film about the way criticizing journalism, art and culture in Israel are almost powerless in front of the crimes of occupation and Israeli indifference. Its a film about a theater play based on Gideon Levys work. Davidi directed, Burnat contributed some supplementary footage, Martin Mugilner, the director of the play, is a graduate student of Amir Orian, the subject of Davidis upcoming film Mixed Feelings. It is rather an experimental documentary piece that is very relevant to these hard days.
