Five NE Range Science students were awarded a trip to the State Envirothon this past weekend at St. Johns University. They competed against 48 other teams on May 5th in Cloquet and took 3rd place. At state, they placed 19th out of 28 teams. The Envirothon is an outdoor learning event for HS students which consists of a test and an oral presentation in areas of wildlife, soils, forestry etc. This team consists of Abby Mellesmoen, Aly Scherer, Travis Loewen, Brandon Mackai and Chad Wills. Troy Bissonette was also part of the team but was unable to attend the state meet. Well done!
