Five Ten Athlete - Brian Gavagan and Yellow Designs teamed up with Denver Public Schools to offer after-school Bike Skills Enrichment classes. These classes are geared more toward the beginner to intermediate rider ages 6+. Our goal is to bring the kids up to speed on the basics of bicycle-maintenance and bike-handling skills. We teach Rules of the Road and set up courses that teach the kids about steering, braking and balance. We have a lot of parents tell us how their kids confidence level has improved from our class and I think a big part of that is due to these kids challenging themselves and overcoming their fears while having fun!
