Five Years Later Haiti Relief Continues with a Helping Hand USA !!! On the fourth anniversary of the tragic earthquake that hit Haiti on January 12, 2010, the Helping Hand USA joins Haiti to remember all victims.We remember the lives lost, and in their memory, we have to work every single day to move Haiti forward and make Haiti and Haitians.We are encouraged and hopeful about Haiti’s future development. Helping Hand USA has also initiated its Orphan Sponsorship/Support program in the region to address the concerns of the large number of children who are left without parents. Furthermore, the immediate need for clean water in the area promoted Helping Hand USA to build a well as part of its Water for Life program in the town of Miragoane. Lastly, Helping Hand USA was able to provide college students with the opportunity to volunteer during their spring break in its Youth for Haiti program.
