Five awesome days camping/quadding with Josh Pettigrew, Mark Zorn, Kyle Wakefield and (the body). Highlight was watching a wolf chase an Elk into the lake in front of us. The Elk swam across the lake and the wolf ran around and confronted it again. This time they had a mexican stand off about 20 feet apart which lasted almost a half hour. Eventually they both disappeared into the woods only to return a few minutes later with the Elk running full speed across the beach with the wolf chasing it. The attached video was taken seconds later with the elk again crossing the lake. The last we heard was the wolf yelping near where we last saw the elk and then leaving the area still letting out the odd yelp. The entire event lasted just over 60 minutes. One of the coolest thing I have ever seen. Come back tomorrow for some photos from the adventure. Enjoy.
