Five months before he was murdered by the US National Security - TopicsExpress

Five months before he was murdered by the US National Security State, JFK gave the most meaningful speech of his presidency. The American University speech called into question all the racist and paranoid assumptions that were used to justify the Cold War, and he vowed to do everything he could to end it. After successfully lobbying Americans to call for a partial nuclear test ban treaty, beginning to establish diplomatic relations with Russia and Cuba, standing up for the autonomy of former colonies in Asia and Africa, challenging the banksters and industrialists who were part of the growing military-industrial-government complex and signing an order to withdraw from Vietnam he was deemed a threat to national security and made an example of for future presidents. The National Security State has succeeded in completely subduing resistance to the imperialist objectives of the neocons and neoliberals who are generally one and the same, more properly referred to as neofascists. As the Mideast burns, they have turned their sights to Russia in a desperate race to conquer the world before the dollar collapses, followed closely by the collapse of the Empire itself. Now Putin has made a speech that compares to the American University speech in its plainspoken indictment of a system that is morally corrupting to America and a danger to the world. In contrast to the Kennedy speech, which was widely hailed and rebroadcast incessently in the Soviet Union, Putins speech has been ignored by the Western media that did the same with Kennedys call for sanity. That is why we have to share the message as widely as possible in places where it would not otherwise be seen It is not enough just to preach to the choir. Please share these on Democratic and Republican and conservative and progressive pages on Facebook and in letters to the editor and guest editorials in the mainstream press. orientalreview.org/2014/11/04/putin-to-western-elites-play-time-is-over/ Scott Rickard Andrew Carter Andrea Tosi Beverly GarrettColby Damon Olsen Don Aye Al Anderson Rhea Cherrith Ekaterina Stevens Svetlana Konoplev вадим Троицкий Tim Nolan Paul S Armstrong Mohammed Zakaria Tom Baxter Tom McKirgan Antoinette Capasso-Backdahl Larry Bingham Larry Scroggins Gerry Williams Robert Cook Bob Equality Dorn Dan Kinch Shawn Hamilton Dan McGraw Amy Ruth Lesa Lal William Miniutti Paul Del GattoTimothy Gatto Mary Volm Norman Solomon Norman Goldman Vadim Pticyn John Mesler Alfred Rogers René Upshaw Crystal Powell Crystal Davidson Chuck Smith Sandy Bone David Arver Joe Joseph Turner Nathaniel Heidenheimer Lane Ayr Claudine Harrington Heather Kimbrough Bill Harwood
