Five of us from LWF will be going to Tanzania on a mission trip in early June--we will be doing evangelism, praying for the sick, and training leaders. Gina Helms, our missionary in Tanzania, gave us a list of items we could bring to hand out to the people. Thank you so much for your help, Pastor Tom List: - soccer balls with pumps to donate to school - the salvation bracelets (500 if possible) - gifts for the main pastor (a tie) and his wife (scarf, skin lotion) - other gifts like scarves and jewelry for women - we will buy candy here for the kids - balloons - I would say bring 1000 - these are great to leave behind for the school so we wont use 1000 but a great gift. We will use them for some games and leave the rest. - the bubbles are always a great thing to bring. you know the bottles of liquid and you pull out the stick and blow bubbles. Such a great thing with the kids and you can pull it out anywhere. - small soaps and lotions - great gift for anyone, any age - the reading glasses - jump ropes (a few jump ropes is great) - maybe a few frisbees and we can leave those with the schools too
