Five people. Five of my people murdered. During their morning prayers. Four rabbis (three with U.S. citizenship, and the fourth with U.K. citizenship) and one police officer. Obama, while it may be true that a majority of Israelis and Palestinians overwhelmingly want peace, you cant urge leaders from both sides to work together to ease tensions, when the horrific reality is that the people in control of the Palestinian side are the extremists and terrorists. Our leaders want peace. Their leaders dont. We never want to hurt anybody, and we long for peace, but we cant stand by while our people are massacred by axes and guns and knives and bombs and stones and being run over by vehicles. You cant tell two sides to work together, when only one side is willing to cooperate...the very side thats victim to systematic horrific cruelty and terrorism. Im in such a state of disbelief and horror right now. I actually dont know what to do with myself. These were someones father, someones son, someones brother....and they were murdered mercilessly...for what?! How can we keep let this happening? When will the world wake up??
