: Five top Lashkar-i-Toiba mujahids were Martyed in an encounter at Kangan area of Central Kashmir’s Ganderbaldistri ct.Official sources told Srinagar based news gathering agency Global NewsService (GNS) that acting on a tip off, army’s 24 RR and SOG cordonedoff the Prang area of Wasun in Kangan,Ganderba l early wee hourstoday.As such the joint team intensifiedthe search operation mujahidspresent there opened indiscriminate fire upon them ensuing a fierce gunbattle which lasted for about 2 hours, sources said.During the gunfight, five top LeTmujahids including a districtcommand er Assadullah Bai, allhailing from Pakistan were Martyed.
