Five type of brothers, from whom the sisters should be protected: 1) Brothers who dont allow their sisters to marry outside the family caste and religion, to maintain family purity. 2) Brothers who dont allow their sisters male classmates to call her mobile or landline, to prevent her from becoming bad. 3) Brothers who deicide what their sisters should wear to college, to keep her respect-worthy. 4) Brothers who beat up their sisters lover or boyfriend, for daring to having a relationship without the approval of the elders. And, the best of all brothers, 5) Brothers who shamelessly murder their own sisters to protect family honour. This is what the tradition of placing protective responsibility of female members on the male members of family has produced. It is easy to wear a thread and post on facebook that you love your sister. But real love comes from respecting your sisters right to be whom she wants to be. Take a pledge that you will protect the rights of your sister, from being harmed by society and family. PS; people asking me why i am so negative i just have one thing to say that what is positive and good is there to be enjoyed and appreciated but it is the negative part that we need to attack and get rid off and i am much interested in making it all positive.:)
