Five years. Has it really been FIVE years? It seems like yesterday *smile* the chomping at the bit to hit the road, the nighttime drive with the Timmys stops, sneaking out of the first hotel to go and buy some nail polish to match my dress (since I didnt have any) and painting my nails and toes by the seaside at dawn while letting you sleep, eagerly waiting for you to wake up as the anticipation of getting to Rockwater was eating me alive *L*. The ferry ride, the drive along the coast on the island to Halfmoon Bay, getting there just in time to catch a shower in our Fabulous tenthouse suite, get dressed and pretty and scoot on down to the shore to be handfasted barefoot on a rock *smile* Such a beautiful, warm and sunny day...hence the reason you were allowed to wear your sunglasses *L* The fabulous dinner that followed (served by an Amazing waitress who got Such a kick out of us bumpkins *L*) that will forever leave me craving wild mushroom tarts *drool* Then lemon cake (with two forks, who needs a plate!), jacuzzi tub and playing chess on the deck at sunset while some loud-breathing creature chuffed by in the water...probably one of the most romantic moments of my life *smile* I relive these memories in my head all the time, as it still astonishes me that I could ever want to marry someone as Wholeheartedly and Completely as I wanted to marry you, my loving husband.Ive been against marriage my whole life and you came around and blew that whole thought away. Youve help me wrangle my demons, youve helped me embrace my strengths, you have helped me to see and embrace the person I truly am at heart and kick my ass whenever I seep back into my old ways...for that I am grateful beyond measure.
