Five years ago, Tre wanted his own Christmas Tree. We bought him a small tree at Vons (similar to photo 1) that was in a pot. He was thrilled, decorated it by himself and put all of his presents underneath it. Afterwards, he wanted to keep it so we agreed to plant it in our garden, expecting (hoping) it would die quickly. But die it didnt. For 5 years, the tree has flourished and was starting to take over our front yard. So for the first time ever, we cut down our Christmas tree. We had to brave brutal So Cal winter conditions, endure the relentless walk down our driveway and of course struggled to get the tree back to our house. Ok, I just made Cinjun drag it to the garage. I wouldnt call our tree classically shaped. We lovingly call it Jabba the Christmas Tree. Took us an hour to figure out how to level it. And get all of the spiders off of it. But we think its the most beautiful tree ever!
