Five years ago our beautiful Mother went home to The Lord. As my mind wanders back to the day you left us to grasp the outstretched hand of your beloved Savior Jesus I cant help but wonder did you take one last glance behind you & see the tear stained faces, the circle of your loved ones holding hands, hearts torn, knees weak, the pain of loss written all over the faces of those who loved you more than you knew? Or did you silently take His hand & together you now saw every one of us through the eyes of a sovereign God who catches our tears in the palm of His hand; A loving & Holy Father who restores and lifts us up? As you left the body- broken & weak- and entered into His Kingdom, a spirit renewed, did He wipe away that final tear on your cheek with His gentle, loving hand - Did your beautiful blue eyes light up in awe and wonder at the sight before you? The Kingdom of God Your Holy Father Your Loving Savior- As he placed your feet upon the ground did you realize He always had you in His arms? Did you know that He never left you nor did He ever forsake you just as His word says? As you entered the Eternal Kingdom of The Lord did you take one final look behind you & whisper to us all Do not weep for your loss, but rejoice for my battle had already been won. Do not grieve my absence for my God who has restored me is always with you. Do not fear the life ahead of you for I see that he has you in His arms and all is well! As you took that final step over the threshold between Heaven & Earth, did you tell Him to dry the tears of And breathe life into the hearts of your broken loved ones; and to protect us all until the day comes where we too are carried to the threshold of Heaven & Earth - to cross over into Eternity- reunited with everyone just as you are? Still missing you Mommy, but I know where you are!
