Five years ago today, Mark Herzlich, a Boston College football player announced he was cancer free on ESPNs College Game Day. The journey of a young mans courageous fight with Ewings sarcoma, would inspire a nation. I remember watching his story. I was simply in awe of his determination. Now, five years later, Mark is a friend of ours. A friendship inspired by just that, inspiration. A beautiful parallel universe of giving & inspiring in the name of sarcoma cancer. Congratulations to Mark, and his fiancee Danielle who was by his side during his entire journey. Now, she will soon be Mrs Herzlich.
