Flanagan’s Downtown Event will Affect Starr Street Traffic The City of Corpus Christi Traffic Engineering office advises residents beginning at 7 p.m. Sunday, May 25, 2014 through 2 a.m. Monday, May 26 Flanagan’s Downtown will host its annual Support our Troops event. During the event, Starr Street will be closed from Chaparral Street to Mesquite Street. Traffic control devices will guide motorists through the construction site. Motorists should expect delays and if possible, seek alternate routes or avoid the area. Access to driveways will be maintained throughout the duration of the project.
