Flash Back from the Past: #2 Match Day: Super Copa De Espana FIrst Leg: Valencia vs Real Madrid [FT: 3-2] After securing a breath-taking 30th La Liga glory in 2007, Real Madrid went as a guest to Valencia at Estadio De Mestalla, eventually getting stunned by the home team 3 minutes to end. Mata equalized clearing off Van Nistelrooys early lead. David Villa led Valencia 2 to 1 sooner after Matas equalizer. RVN equalizer was not enough, as Valencia took a healthy lead with goals from Vicente, as Real Madrid hopes to break apart the decider in the II Leg later at Santiago Bernabeu. The most important part of the day for Real Madrid is to have 2 precious away goals. Second Leg: Real Madrid vs Valencia [FT: 4-2] Trust me, if u werent a Real Madrid fan during 2008, you still have time to watch one of the breath-taking win by Real Madrid side. Valencia took the lead with their first away goal, goal with David Sliva made the scoreline 4-2 in aggregate with the home team having players alike Raul, Robben, Guti, Ramos, Pepe, Iker, Van Der Vaart, Nistelrooy got stunned. With a rather unclear challenge favoring a direct red -_- , Rafael van der Vaart had a straight red card, and home side now has to score atleast 2 more goals and not to concede any with 10 players on the pitch. Second Half started, and Real Madrid ace RVN had the equalizer from the spot sooner. The tackle timer didnt went that well, as Van Nistelrooy took a double yellow card and was sent off, Real Madrid went thru one of the worst final in recent years with only 9 men on the pitch vs 11 Valencias players. Lights of hope grew up as Sergio Ramos scored a goal 15 towards the end, the aggregate score now became 4-4, Real Madrid can easily win the game on basis of away goals. Barely with 5 to the end, Real Madrid added 2 more goals ^_^ ^_^ from the substituted players De la Red and Higuaín in some 3 time gap. Real Madrid secured the Spanish Super Cup in a breath-taking finals, as goal from Valencia in 1 to the end was not enough to stop the Bernabeu Crowd. Real Madrid were Champions with a 6-5 aggregate scoreline. ^_^ ^_^ ^_^ More to be listed sooner :) #halamadrid
