Flash update: Hes staying the night at Island Animal Clinic to continue to get IV fluids into his system and keep him calm. We visited him this evening and he was resting comfortably, clearly happy to see us, but still far from his boisterous self. Dr. Tom House thinks its going to be a long road back from brain trauma, but Flash is young and healthy and he has the will to get better. I think of my friend Britt Meitzler and her amazing recovery and I know Flash can do it too. Maybe I should sing The Hero of Canton off-key to Flash too. ;) Thanks also to Jessica Hines House, Sue Brown, Susan Suzanne Hinkle and Harleigh for their excellent care and compassion for our little puppy boy.
