Flashback Friday entry #2: My former bandmates, Bobby and Leslie Sahlen, participated in a music festival in 2001. During the event, former members of The (New) Mamas and Papas and Spanky And Our Gang came together to perform California Dreaming. Spanky McFarlane literally nudged Bobby into singing the lead. Leslie sang backing vocals along with the others. Anyway, I really like this version, so I thought Id share. I edited out some talking at the beginning, so this version goes right into the music.
