Flint bakery The Pudding Compartment, where 20-year-old Gertrude Boeven is employed, has been able to significantly grow its business after taking on staff through the Jobs Growth Wales programme. The Pudding Compartment was set up by husband and wife team Steve and Juliet West in 2007, supplying desserts to the trade and selling to consumers at events. Three years ago, the bakery only had two employees but now it boasts a staff of 10 and has expanded with a new industrial kitchen unit. See their video here.
