Flip it Gratitude (from a different point of view!) 1. Mr Cockerel (next door) started crowing at 6.30 when I wanted a lie in. I was still very tired and really didnt want to get up, unless it gave me the opportunity to wring its neck. I did get up and then had a better opportunity to sit and watch the wind and sun playing in the trees, next to an open window, as I drank my lemon and water and saw the world beginning to wake up. Stunning. 2. Aching like mad this morning. My hands are swollen and my shoulders elbows and knees very tender. I ache because I was fortunate to eat too much delicious food and some naughty food this weekend. This also acts as a reminder not to eat sugar etc! Plus, it reminds me of fab day we had on Saturday when we had the opportunity to walking around and explore a beautiful city bathed in sunlight and warmth - hence the aching quads and hamstrings. 3. Need to defrost freezer urgently and certainly not feeling like it this morning. But unloaded the contents in to insulated bags and discovered a bag of scrummy fish that I thought had all been eaten, I know what we are having for supper tonight and its only 8am in the morning. Magic. Can you find some gratitude today arising from a difficult situation or experience? Flip the feeling into something good or positive, its surprising how easy it can be. Jxx
